Shenbai town

Wenxi County governs the township. Shenbai township was established in 1956, Xiading commune in 1958, Shenbai commune in 1983, and township in 1984. It is located in the hilly area of emeiling in the west of the county, 7 km away from the county, covering an area of 36.1 square kilometers, with a permanent resident population of 10450 (2017). There are county highway transit. It has 14 village committees, namely Shenbai, Dongshan, linjiazhuang, daolongtou, Xiazhuang, Shangzhou village, xiazhou village, Jianxi, Shangding, Xiading, yaotougou, shanglinghou, xialinghou and shijiapo. Shenbai township is located in the northwest of Wenxi city. The whole Township belongs to the typical hilly landform. Shenbai village, where the township government is located, is 15 li away from the county seat. Wenguo line passes through the territory. The entrance of Dayun second class road and Dayun Expressway is only 5 li away from the township government. The transportation is very convenient.

According to the population, they are Xiading village, Shenbai village, longzhitou village, shanglinghou village, Shangding village, xialinghou village, linjiazhuang village, yaotougou village, Xiazhuang village, Jianxi village, xiazhou village, Shangzhou village, shijiapo village and Dongshan village. There are 21 natural villages in the township, with a permanent population of 10450 (2017). The total cultivated land area of the township is 32435 mu, and 3626 Mu is converted from farmland to forest.

Shenbai township is a small agricultural township. Its grain crops are mainly wheat. The water area of the township accounts for one third of the total cultivated land, and the total grain output is more than 5 million kg per year. After the reform of rural taxes and fees, driven by the policies of benefiting farmers such as wheat direct subsidy and improved seed subsidy, the total yield of wheat in the township increased year by year. The main economic crops in the township are apples. Because the township is located in the hills, the temperature difference between day and night is large, and the economic products such as apples and persimmons are of good quality and high sugar content, which are deeply loved by the majority of merchants, and the products are exported to both inside and outside the province. Driven by the national policy of returning farmland to forest, the township has 5 villages with an area of 3626 mu. Xialing Houcun Glass Industrial Park has begun to take shape, among which Hongwei glassware company is the leading enterprise in the city's glass industry, with a variety of products and good benefits.
