Zhonghe Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Zhalantun City, Hulunbuir City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located in the southwest of Zhalantun City, adjacent to Genghis Khan town in the East, Longjiang County in Heilongjiang Province in the south, mushiqi town and samajie Ewenki ethnic township in the west, and nanmu Olunchun ethnic township in the north, with an administrative area of 1012.3 square kilometers.

In 1984, Zhonghe town was established; in 2001, Zhonghe town and kudihe Township were merged into Zhonghe town. In March 2011, the original Zhonghe town and yargenchu town were merged into Zhonghe town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in Zhonghe town was 43318. As of June 2020, Zhonghe town has 2 communities and 20 administrative villages.

In 1984, Zhonghe built a town.

In 2001, Zhonghe town and kudihe Township were merged into Zhonghe town.

In 2006, Zhonghe town changed into Zhonghe office.
