Living water Township is a place name. There are towns with the same name in Hebei Province, Hunan Province and Yunnan Province. Due to the influence of natural conditions and different local policy planning, there are differences in the development and construction of each town.

Huoshui township is located in the east of Zhongfang County, known as the "East Gate" of Zhongfang county. It is at the junction of Zhongfang County, Xupu County and Hongjiang county (city). It is connected with huangmaoyuan town of Xupu County in the East, Tiepo town in the west, Wanxi township of Hongjiang City in the South and Jinxi Township in the north. It has jurisdiction over 6 villages including Xiajing, Wangjia, Longxing, Longpan, Sucun and zhongbaoshan, with 62 villager groups, a total of 1609 households and 6065 people. The total area of the township is 22.05 square kilometers, with an average altitude of more than 700 meters. The territory is mainly mountainous, with only 5835 mu of arable land. The climate is mainly subtropical monsoon humid climate with significant monsoon climate, cool in summer and cold in winter. The annual rainfall is abundant, with an average of 1849.8 mm, which is very conducive to the growth of crops.

The gross domestic product of the township is 74.2 million yuan, including 7.72 million yuan of agricultural output value, 66.48 million yuan of industrial output value and 2426 yuan of per capita disposable income. hybrid rice seed production is a traditional industry of farmers in the township, and it is also the main source of agricultural income in the township. More than 200 mu of hybrid rice seed production base has been built. In terms of the adjustment of agricultural industrial structure, the township has stepped up efforts to continuously deepen the development of mountainous areas, and built more than 5000 mu Jinqiu pear production base mainly in Longpan village and Sucun village, and more than 1500 mu big leaf honeysuckle production base mainly in Xiajing village and Baoshan Village.

The granite resources in Huoshui township are rich. The granite produced is hard and uniform in color. It is well received by customers and enjoys the reputation of "living water stone in China". Now, two quarries and four processing plants have been built, becoming one of the four major industrial districts in Zhongfang County, and three processing plants are under construction. In addition, the township is also rich in kaolin resources. So far, the survey work has been completed, and the preliminary preparation work for mining is under way.
