Qinglong Town

Qinglong Town, belonging to Dayu County, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the east of Dayu county. Zhangjiang River passes through the central part, national highway 323, Ganshao Expressway and Ganshao railway. There is an entrance of Ganshao Expressway in the east of Qinglong Town. The area is 110.55 square kilometers (2018), and the registered residence population is 31 thousand and 200 (2018). It has 11 administrative villages (2019).

In 2018, there were 19 industrial enterprises in Qinglong Town, and 48 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Historical evolution

In Ming and Qing Dynasties, it belonged to chijiang, Fozi and shuangkeng pass.

In the Republic of China, it belonged to the Fifth District and Qinglong township.

On the eve of liberation, it belonged to Shuanglong and Yunshan townships.

At the beginning of liberation, Qinglong, Lianhe, Shengli, Lianmeng, Ertang and Yuanlong, which belong to the third district, and Pinggang and Lianmeng, which belong to the second district.

In 1952, it belonged to 11 townships of Henan, Qinglong, chijiang, Ertang, Yuanlong, Lianhe, Pinggang, Shuangwan, Lianhe, Lianhe and Jiulong in the third district.

In 1955, it belonged to Qinglong district.

In 1956, it belonged to four townships of Qinglong, Lianhe, Ertang and Pinggang.

In 1957, Qinglong district was abolished; Ertang and Lianhe townships were returned to chijiang district; Qinglong and Pinggang townships were returned to Huanglong district.

In the autumn of 1958, Liaoyuan commune was established.

In 1959, it was renamed Qinglong commune.

In the winter of 1961, Zuoba and Ertang communes were established.

In the winter of 1962, Ertang commune was incorporated.

In May 1984, it was changed to Qinglong township.

In September 1993, Qinglong township was abolished and Qinglong Town was established.

Qinglong Town is located in the east of Dayu County, with a total area of 110.55 square kilometers. It is adjacent to chijiang town in the East, Youshan town in Xinfeng County in the south, Huanglong town in the west, Zuoba town and Zhangdou town in the north.

Qinglong Town is mainly hilly land, with low mountains in the north edge of the town, and flat land along both sides of zhangshui River and Shaogan highway. The terrain inclines from west to East and from south to north.

Economics

In the 1980s, rice was the main crop growing area in Dayu county. The economic crops included peanut, rape, sugarcane, tobacco, citrus, tea and so on.

In the 21st century, rice is still the main crop, and the planting scale of characteristic agriculture such as sweet corn, alpine pepper and sweet bamboo shoots also accounts for a considerable proportion. With the steady development of grain production, Qinglong Town has vigorously developed such industries as high-quality navel orange, waterfowl three-dimensional breeding, vegetables and flowers as its leading agricultural industries. At the same time, the new development of greenhouse watermelon, flower seedlings and other characteristic industries. Li Linsheng

Li Linsheng, born in 1966 in Qinglong Town, Dayu County, is a native Hakka. Because he likes Hakka culture, Li Linsheng has been learning Hakka quyi from the village folk artists since childhood. In 1985, at the age of 19, Li Linsheng was admitted to the tea picking troupe of Dayu county to study national wind music. Since then, he has been working in the troupe. In 2012, in order to spread the reputation of "hometown of Peony Pavilion" in Dayu County, Li Linsheng led the creation of the original version of "the story of Peony Pavilion". The play combines Hakka cultural elements and presents a touching love story in the form of Hakka tea picking opera. The play won the highest art award of Jiangxi Province - yuminghua excellent Drama Award. His tea picking opera, the girls of the village head's family, once performed for the party and state leaders in China theater on behalf of Jiangxi Province, and is a second-class performer.
