Qinglong Town is located in the South Central Yunnan and the north of Huaning County. The town government is 93 km away from Kunming City, 85 km away from Yuxi City and 37 km away from the county seat.

Phosphate rock is mainly distributed in dahuangcaoling, xiaohuangcaoling, yangcaotang, fulude and huangcuishan, with 3 proven reserves: dahuangcaoling 3.65 million tons, xiaohuangcaoling 2.74 million tons, yangcaotang fulude 4.27 million tons, with a total of 10.66 million tons, and P2O5 content greater than or equal to 27%. Quartz sand is mainly distributed in laodekan area, with proven reserves of 1.67 million tons and SiO2 content greater than or equal to 97%. Copper deposits are mainly distributed in Chaobao and zizishan areas with unclear reserves. Pyrite is mainly distributed in the areas of luzu and damugonglong. It is produced by sandstone copper with proven reserves of 30000 tons. Lead and zinc are mainly distributed in baishagou, Yinchang and Fengyang villages with unclear reserves. Pyrite is mainly distributed in shuijingwan, Qize and Maanshan. Among them, the geological reserves of shuijingwan are 660000 tons, and no geological work has been done in Qize and Maanshan, so the reserves are unclear. Limestone is mainly distributed in tuobie and fulude, with proven geological reserves of 4.3 million tons. Gypsum is mainly distributed in zhugudou area, with proven geological reserves of 110000 tons.

Economics

The total amount of water resources in Qinglong Town is large. The average annual water resources of Nanpan River and Haikou river flowing through Qinglong Town are 2.406 billion cubic meters. Qinglong starts from the watershed boundary stele in the south of the river, flows northeast through the village committees of douju, yimabai, luomei, Qinglong, Haiyi and Gele, and flows into the Nanpanjiang River, with a total length of 27.8 km. there are 68 Batang, 3 reservoirs and 17500 small water cellars in the town, with a total storage capacity of 1.82 million m3, of which the storage capacity of Guogeng, shede and fangude reservoirs are 200000 m3, 650000 m3 and 280000 m3 respectively, and the total storage capacity of small water cellars is 280000 m3. A total of 12 kilometers of sanmianguang ditch and more than 400 small ditches have been built, covering an area of 31000 mu, with a water conservancy degree of 68.8%.

Qinglong Town is located at the junction of Yuxi City, Kunming City and Honghezhou city. It has been the north gate of Huaning County since ancient times. It is an important part of the transportation network in Central Yunnan. Chenghua road and Huanhu Road pass through the territory, with convenient transportation and obvious location advantages. There are 581 kilometers of rural roads in the town, and the rural road network has been basically completed.

There are one 110kV substation and one 35kV substation in the town, and the rural power grid transformation of 17 village committees has been completed. Nuozai power station and Lufeng power station under construction, with installed capacity of 75000 kW and 22000 kW respectively, can be built and put into use in 2008.

The population of Qinglong market town is 52521 (in 2017). At present, there are 1 north-south old street, 2 East-West streets, 3 old farmer's streets and 2 comprehensive farmer's markets. The hardening, greening and lighting of market town streets have been completed. In addition, there are three traditional fairs: Haijing, Lufeng and nuozai.
