Beigang
Beigang Town, belonging to Haigang District, Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province, is located in the north of Haigang District, 10 kilometers away from the people's Government of Haigang district. It is connected with Shanhaiguan in the East, Qinhuangdao City in the south, and Funing District in the West and North. The total administrative area is 54 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in north port town was 18747.
Beigang town belongs to Linyu county. In 1954, it was incorporated into Funing district. In 1961, it belonged to lanmazhuang commune and yaozhouzhai commune. In 1984, it was changed to lanmazhuang Township and yaozhouzhai township. In 1995, the two townships were assigned to Haigang district. In January 1996, lanmazhuang Township and yaozhouzhai Township were merged to build Beigang town. As of June 2020, Beigang town has jurisdiction over 32 administrative villages.
