Longquan cave is located in Shuidong Town, Xuanzhou District, Xuancheng City, Anhui Province. It is also known as yaotou cave. It is a limestone cave. As early as 700 years ago, a range rover came here.

Longquan cave is located at the foot of Bishan, 4km to the east of the central town. It is a famous scenic spot in southern Anhui.

In February 2016, according to the national standard of "classification and evaluation of the quality grades of tourist attractions" and "measures for the management of the quality grades of tourist attractions", recommended by the relevant municipal tourist attractions quality rating agencies, Anhui provincial tourist attractions quality rating committee proposed to evaluate longquandong scenic spot in Xuancheng City as a national 4A scenic spot.

Located at the foot of Bishan, 4km east of the central town, Bishan Longquan cave is a famous scenic spot in southern Anhui, as well as the Taiji cave in Guangde. According to experts from the Chinese Academy of Sciences and other departments, Longquan cave was formed about 3 million years ago and is a limestone cave. The cave is vast in scale, majestic in momentum, deep in twists and turns, and strange in rocks. It is like a masterpiece of art with unique ingenuity.

There are seven floors up and down, five places on the left and right, 20 halls and 100 caves, with a total area of more than 1000 square meters and 200-300 square meters. The cave covers an area of more than 12000 square meters, with a space of more than 80000 cubic meters. There are more than 200 natural landscapes. Stalagmites, stalagmites, stone pillars and stone caps are all over the cave. It's gorgeous and beautiful. The temperature in the cave is about 18 ℃ all the year round, fresh and pleasant.

Longquan cave has been a tourist attraction in history. Up to now, there are 28 inscriptions written by tourists in the past dynasties on the cave wall. Most of them have not been recognized because of their age. Among them, Xu Rongxuan's inscription on dongzhongyue Xiangshan in the first year of Kaiqing (1195) of the Southern Song Dynasty shows that as early as 800 years ago, tourists came here to enjoy the wonders of the cave. Xuancheng county annals of the Qing Dynasty also recorded Longquan cave. However, the Longquan cave was blocked in the middle of Qing Dynasty. It was not until the drought in 1978 that the peasants searched for water resources that it was rediscovered and excavated. After renovation, it was officially opened to the public on New Year's day in 1982. Today's Longquan cave, with undulating mountains, green trees and dingdong springs, has restaurants, tea houses, hotels and other tourist service facilities, winding corridors and uneven pavilions, which are hidden in the forest and bamboo trees; in the cave, there are steps, ladder and colored lights, which are colorful and extremely interesting, just like the Dragon Palace.
