Changning town

Changning town is located in the east of Jinzhong Basin, 15 kilometers southeast of Yuci, bordering on Heshun and Shouyang. It has been the east gate of Yuci since ancient times. Changning town is a traditional agricultural town.

The natural terrain of Changning town is high and narrow in the East, low and wide in the west, with two beams, one Sichuan and one mountain, 800-1820 meters above sea level. It is a typical hilly and mountainous area. Changning commune was established in 1958 and the town was established in 1984. In 1999, the former Changning town merged with the former Shigeta town.
