Xiajiang Township

Qusong County, Shannan City, Tibet Autonomous Region governs the township and three administrative villages, namely Jiang Village, Jiawa village and zengga village. The township government is located in Xiajiang village.

It is located in the east of qusong County, Shannan City, Tibet, adjacent to lasui township of Jiacha County in the East and qusong town in the West.

The township covers an area of 392.2 square kilometers.

In 2017, there were 1876 permanent residents.

In February 1962, Xiajiang district was set up. In October 1987, the district was removed and the township was changed. In 1996, Xiajiang Township, with a population of 2300, governed four administrative villages, namely Xiajiang, zengga, qusong and Jiawa. Later, qusong village, where the county government is located, was put under the jurisdiction of the newly established qusong town.
