Erdaodianzi Town, belonging to Huadian City, Jilin Province, is located in the northeast of Huadian city. It borders Dunhua City with zhangguangcailing in the East, Hongshi town with houling in the south, Gongji Township with Songhuajiang in the west, and piaohe town of Jiaohe City with Songhuajiang in the north. It is 60km away from Huadian municipal government, covering an area of 825.87km2.

In 1958, Erdaodianzi town belonged to huashulinzi commune; in August 1986, it was changed from muqihe commune to Erdaodianzi town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population of two road sub towns was 27935. As of June 2020, Erdaodianzi town has one community and 12 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the people's Government of Erdaodianzi town is located in the community.

History of construction

In 1958, it belonged to birch forest commune.

In 1961, birch Linzi commune was divided into Erdaodianzi commune.

In 1965, the second brigade of Erdaodianzi and muqihe established Erdaodianzi Town, and Erdaodianzi commune was renamed muqihe commune.

In 1969, the town and commune merged into Erdaodianzi commune.

In December 1980, Erdaodianzi commune was renamed muqihe commune.

In August 1986, muqihe commune was changed into Erdaodianzi town.
