Ninggu town is located in the west of Pingyao County, Fen (Yang) Tun (Liu) highway across the territory. Ninggu town is one of the five major market towns in Pingyao, with a population of 38000, more than 9900 households and 86000 mu of cultivated land.

brief introduction

Ninggu town has 24 administrative villages under its jurisdiction. Fenhe River passes along the southeast ring of the town. Fenhe Sanba Administration Bureau has four branches, eight branches, nine branches and ten branches covering the whole town. The water conservancy conditions are superior, so it is said that "one water determines the universe". Provincial Road fentun road and County Road Youxi Road, duning road and Jingning road form a "two horizontal and two vertical" highway framework. The "village to village" project connects the villages, extending in all directions, with convenient transportation. Ninggu town is a typical agricultural town, which belongs to the main grain production area of the county. The main crops are corn, sorghum, peanut, sunflower and so on. Agricultural planting is also very characteristic, forming a melon grain intercropping three-dimensional planting, tomato planting, melon planting, long yam planting, oil planting five areas, the development potential is huge. In recent years, guided by the strategy of "four county characteristics" and "four major development", combined with the reality of Ninggu, we pay more attention to scientific development, improvement of people's livelihood, project promotion, environmental improvement, industrial optimization, innovative ideas, sound mechanism, and strive to broaden the income channels of farmers. The construction of rural social undertakings has achieved remarkable results. The town's national economy continued to develop rapidly and healthily, and farmers' income increased significantly. From 2009 to 2010, the total income of rural economy increased from 284 million yuan to 312 million yuan, with an average annual growth rate of 10%; the annual per capita net income of farmers increased from 5090 yuan to 5795 yuan, with an average annual growth rate of 13.85%; the total grain output increased from 30500 tons to 31400 tons, with an average annual growth rate of 3%. The number of pigs, layers, cattle and sheep reached 19304, 512100, 587 and 8745 respectively. The savings of the residents in the town have increased by a large margin, and the people's living standard has been greatly improved.

New rural construction

Since the new rural construction meeting of Ninggu Town, the biogas construction project, one of the nine major projects in the town, has a strong momentum of development. At present, 20 households of Biogas Construction in the town have been completed, 33 households are under construction, and more than 200 households have intention to build biogas pools or have signed up. Ninggu three-dimensional demonstration park takes the improvement of traditional farming methods as a breakthrough, popularizes the three-dimensional planting mode with corn as the main part, and continuously improves the output benefit of unit planting area. There are seven patterns of corn interplanting melon, corn interplanting watermelon and corn interplanting pumpkin. These models give full play to the edge row advantage of high and low stem crops, effectively use the symbiotic period of crop growth which is not affected by the double cropping system, improve the photosynthetic efficiency of leaf area, and further tap the potential of land yield. In recent years, cultivation practice has proved that the maize based Ninggu three-dimensional intercropping mode not only keeps the maize yield at about 500 kg per mu, but also the intercropping crops harvest year after year. Taking the current harvested Japanese pumpkin, watermelon and melon as an example, the farmers in the whole county have earned 39.8 million yuan, and the benefits will be more considerable with the intercropping of corn and other crops.
