Pingshan Town belongs to Lingshan County, Qinzhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. It is located in the northeast of Lingshan County, 22 kilometers away from the county. It is connected with Fozi town in the southeast, Shitang town in the northeast and Fengtang town in the West.

Pingshan Town has a total area of 115.23 square kilometers. By the end of 2013, Pingshan Town has one community, 17 administrative villages and a total population of 47102 people (2017). In May 1980, the Revolutionary Committee of the commune was changed to the commune management committee. In September 1984, the people's commune was abolished and restored to Pingshan township. The commune management committee was changed to the people's government. On January 1, 1994, Pingshan township was changed into Pingshan Town.

The original market of Pingshan Town was located in pingshantu of Huangning village.
