Qiaotou Township, belonging to Yudu County, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the north of Yudu county. It is connected with Yinkeng town in the East, Ma'an Township in the South and Zhangmu Township in Xingguo County in the northwest. National Highway 319 passes through the territory from west to south. Xingquan railway Yudu North station is located in Qiaotou township. Qiaotou village governs 7 administrative villages and 91 villager groups, with a total area of 34.02 square kilometers. In late 2018, the township population in Qiaotou Township had 17 thousand and 300 registered residence.

History of construction

It's named after artificial buildings. It belongs to Fuqiang township of Yinkeng district before liberation and Qiaotou township of Yinkeng district at the beginning of liberation.

In September 1958, Qiaotou commune was established; in November 1958, Qiaotou commune was merged into Yinkeng commune; in August 1961, Qiaotou commune was separated from Yinkeng commune; in October 1968, it was merged into Yinkeng commune again; in November 1972, Qiaotou commune was restored; in 1984, Qiaotou commune was changed into Qiaotou Township.
