Hongqi Street

Hongqi Street, a street under the jurisdiction of Hunjiang District, Baishan City, Jilin Province, is located in the center of Hunjiang District, bordering Dongxing Street in the East, connecting Chengnan street with railway line in the south, Xinjian street in the West and Jiangbei street across Hunjiang River in the north, with a total area of 1.3 square kilometers.

In 1956, Hongqi Street was set up, belonging to Badaojiang town of Hunjiang city; after the district was established in 1985, Hongqi Street office was upgraded from village level office to township level office. At the end of 2011, the total population of Hongqi Street was 55928. As of June 2020, Hongqi Street has five communities under its jurisdiction.

In 2011, the total industrial output value of Hongqi Street was 90 million yuan, an increase of 34.9% over the previous year, realizing an industrial added value of 30 million yuan.

History of construction

In 1956, Hongqi Street was set up, belonging to Badaojiang town of Hunjiang city.

After its establishment in 1985, Hongqi sub district office was upgraded from village level office to township level office.
