Chengguan Town, set up in 1964, the town government in Xiguan Street. It has four residential offices and 10 village committees. In 1994, there were 29508 households with a population of 92350. The total area of the town is 23.7 square kilometers, with 13449 mu of arable land.

There are 532 Mu orchards, producing apples, peaches, pears, etc., with an annual output of 35 tons. Crops are wheat, cotton, corn, sorghum, millet, vegetables and so on. There are more than 30 enterprises of various types, and Mianshan Construction Corporation of the village has more than 4000 employees, which is a national second-class enterprise. In 1994, the total grain output of the whole town was 5844.6 tons, 434.5 kg per mu. The total income of rural economy is 353.48 million yuan, and the per capita income is 1378 yuan. There are 1 junior middle school, 10 primary schools, 6 kindergartens and 2 Town clinics.
