Qiansuo Street

Qiansuo street is located in Taizhou Bay, the southeast coast of Zhejiang Province. It is adjacent to the East China Sea in the East, across the river from the central area of Taizhou in the south, Zhang'an street in the West and Linhai Duqiao in the north. The street traffic is developed. There are 75 provincial roads, 83 provincial roads, Taijin expressway, Zhejiang Coastal Expressway (under construction), Taijin Railway (under construction in 2015), Jiaojiang second bridge and Taizhou Bay Bridge (under construction). The port is well-developed in shipping, including qiansuo Haimen ferry and qiansuo port. According to records: in 1396 A.D., Tang He, the Duke of Xinguo, built a city wall at Haimen and qiansuo in order to prevent Japanese pirates. Because he was located in the forefront of Taizhou, he was named qiansuo. In May 1992, with the approval of the higher authorities, the coastal Township and Qianan Township were removed and merged into qiansuo town of Jiaojiang city. In December 2001, the town was removed and changed into qiansuo street of Jiaojiang District.

Agriculture

Agricultural industrialization was further promoted. The green union vegetable professional cooperative and Donglu grain production cooperative were listed in 100 municipal demonstration cooperatives. Among them, Donglu grain production cooperative was rated as the city's excellent grain cooperative, and Donglu early rice production demonstration party was awarded the title of provincial grain quality and high yield demonstration party.
