Fenghuang street is located in the southeast of Weifang central city and the northwest of Fangzi District, with an administrative area of 44 square kilometers and a population of 56183 (2010).

evolution

Fenghuang street was established on August 1, 1998. It has 13 rural residents' committees, including dongbaiyangbu, xibaiyangbu, Lijia, Wangjia, Zhengjia, xiaowujia, Gejia, xianghezi, Dengjia, dayingzi, Qianying, hexiying and Zhaojia, and 2 urban residents' committees, including Shuangyang street and Longquan street. In March 2001, the zoning was adjusted, and nangouxi village, beigouxi village and Yanfang village of former Gouxi town were under the management of Fenghuang Street office. In 2003, Fenghuang Street's two villages, Zhengjia and Yanfang, were put under the control of Qingchi town; and the other 16 villages, Guojia, xinwangjiazhuang, dongjiazhuangzi, Xinlijia, nanfanjia, Nandian, dongwangsong No.1 village, dongwangsong No.2 village, dongwangsong No.3 village, dongwangsong No.4 village, luojiazhaizi, xindongyi village, xindonger village, xindongsan village, Hetou village and xicaozhuang village, were put under the control of Fenghuang street Jurisdiction. In the same year, Nandian, xicaozhuang, dongwangsong No.1 village, dongwangsong No.2 village, dongwangsong No.3 village, dongwangsong No.4 village and luojiazhaizi were put under the jurisdiction of fang'an street.

Weifang Fenghuangshan high tech Industrial Park is a high tech development park approved by Shandong provincial government. It is located in the southeast of the central urban area of Weifang, 2.8km away from the municipal Party committee and the municipal government, with a planned area of 13km2 and a developed area of 7.9km2. It is the only provincial Development Park in Fangzi District.
