Chengnan Street

Chengnan street is located in the South Gate of Shaoxing City, just a river away from the old city. It is closely connected with the city by Chengnan bridge and Zhongxing bridge in the north, qinwangshan in the south, Yuling Xianglu peak in the East and Zhejiang Kuaiji mountain tourist resort in the East, and Lanting, the Holy land of calligraphy in the West. The street is about 3 kilometers long from north to South and 4 kilometers wide from east to west, with a total area of 12.5 square kilometers and a built-up area of 7.5 square kilometers. It governs 18 administrative villages and 11 communities. Population 93003 (2010).

There are many highways running through the whole area, such as Chengnan Avenue, Yangshao line, Fenghuang Road, Daming Road, etc. in the east-west direction; Shaogan line, the extension of Jiefang South Road, Shanyin Road, Daxue road and Zhongxing South Road in the north-south direction.

Xianglu peak of Nanzhen is located in the territory, and the Shiwu Buddhist temple built in the Ming Dynasty at its right foot needs to be developed. According to the planning of the municipal Party committee and the municipal government, the south of the city is defined as "South leisure" and "back garden". Dahuan River and Celebrity Square, which are adjacent to Kuaiji mountain scenic spot, have become the main places for people's leisure and tourism.
