On June 15, 2011, Dongfeng sub district office of Xiangyang high tech Industrial Development Zone was established in accordance with the spirit of Xiangyang senior management document No. 40. The jurisdiction area is mainly Xiangyang base of Dongfeng company, with an area of 9.34 square kilometers and a population of 9700 households, about 45300 people.

Jurisdiction

There are two neighborhood committees under its jurisdiction, including Dongfeng community neighborhood committee and Checheng community neighborhood committee. there are 4726 households with 22000 residents in the area under the neighborhood committee of Dongfeng community, with the four ranges of Dongfeng Automobile Avenue, No.12 Road, Shenlong road and Benz Avenue in the East, Tianlai Avenue in the west, Xincheng Road in the South and No.16 road in the north; there are 4974 households with 23300 residents in the area under the neighborhood committee of Checheng community, with the four ranges of fanwei: East to the east boundary of the test plant, West to Tianlai Avenue and Xinfeng Road, South to Yangguang road and Fukang road Avenue, north to Xincheng Road.
