YeChuan town is located in the west of Gaoping City, 13 kilometers away from the urban area. The town borders Beicheng street and Nancheng street in the East, Yuancun Township and Macun town in the south, Sizhuang town in the north and Guxian Township in Qinshui County in the West. It is 20 kilometers long from north to South and 5 kilometers wide from east to west, with a total area of 89.22 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over 24 villager committees, 59 natural villages and 121 villager groups. The residents in the territory are mainly farmers, with the combination of planting and breeding. The main crops are wheat, corn, millet, cereals and so on. In 1996, a well-off town was built. The total agricultural income of the town is 971.65 million, the total annual grain output is 14142 tons, the average yield per mu is 473 kg, 100 mu of nursery and 860 mu of orchard are built, and the annual output of fruit is 2.338 million kg. It has two garden demonstration villages, namely hongyangou village and hongyangou village. Pig breeding is the main industry, supplemented by cattle, sheep and rabbits.
