Beiyi town

Beiyi town is a town under the jurisdiction of Zezhou County, located in the northeast of the county, 27 kilometers away from the urban area of Jincheng city. It is the north gate of Zezhou county. In the Qing Dynasty, it was subordinate to Zezhou prefecture (now Jincheng), Shanxi Province. In 1953, it was divided into Nanyi city and Dongzhang village, and Beiyi city and countryside from 1956 to 1958.
