Tashimilik Township, which belongs to Shufu County in Kashgar region of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the south of Shufu county. It is connected with Baren township of aketao County in the East, oytak town of aketao County in the south, wupar Township across Gaizi River in the West and tierimu Township in the north. During the period of the Republic of China, tashmirik Township belonged to tashmirik Burke District of Shufu County; in August 1984, tashmirik commune was changed into tashmirik township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of tassk lake was 36416. In 2019, tashmirik governs 18 administrative villages, and the people's government is located in gelderlang village.

History of construction
During the period of the Republic of China, it belonged to tashmerick Burke District of Shufu county.
In 1950, tashmirik district was established.
In 1954, the eighth township of wuytag under the jurisdiction of tashmilik district was under the jurisdiction of aktao County, Kezhou.
In 1959, the tierimu management area of blakesu commune was transferred to tashmerick commune.
In August 1984, tierimu township was set up by four brigades from tashmerick commune, and tashmerick commune was changed into tashmerick township.
