Yushugou town

Yushugou Town, belonging to Changji City, Changji Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, is located in the central and western part of the city. It is adjacent to Erliugong town in the East, Junhu farm of the sixth division of BINGTUAN in the south, erlidian town of Hutubi County in the West and chin Lake Farm in the north. The area is 123.81 square kilometers. In 2018, 12543 people registered residence.

In 1950, it was divided into two districts and four borders. In 1956, it was Yushugou Township after withdrawing the district and merging the township. In September 1958, Hongxing commune was established and renamed Yushugou commune in October. In 1967, it was renamed Dongfanghong commune. In 1973, the original name was restored. In October 1984, the commune was transformed into a township. On July 14, 1994, the township was transformed into a town. In October 2019, Yushugou town governs one community and six administrative villages.

In 2018, Yushugou town has 106 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
