Zhengqi Township
Zhengqi township is subordinate to Haiyuan County, Zhongwei City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. It is located in the southeast of Haiyuan County, connecting liwang town in the north, Jiucai town in the south, Heicheng town and Qiying town in Yuanzhou District in the East, and Jiatang Township and caowa Township in the West. It has jurisdiction over 10 villages with an area of 357.52 square kilometers and a population of 18524 (2017).

Historical evolution
In Song Dynasty, the valley of Zhengqi was called Moyan gorge, which was the north route of the silk road. Zhengqi town was set up in the Republic of China, Zhengqi district was set up in 1953, Zhengqi commune was changed in 1958, and township was set up in 1984.
