Wenbao Township
Wenbao township is located in the southwest of Longde County, Ningxia, with a total area of 81.97 square kilometers. It borders Shanhe township of Longde County in the East, Yuebao township of Zhuanglang County in the south, Gucheng township of Jingning County in the West and Caowu township of Jingning County in the north. The township has 15 administrative villages and 72 villager groups, with a total population of 17629 (2017), which is the most populous Township in Longde County. At the end of 2008, the per capita net income of the township reached 2493 yuan. The total farmland area of the township is 64195 mu, and the cultivated land area is 50999 mu, including 10830 mu of Sichuan water land, 38587.5 mu of dry flat land, 15187 mu of converted farmland over the years, 14197 mu of pasture land, and 2.6 mu of cultivated land per capita. The altitude is between 1750-2890 meters, the frost free period is between 130-150 days, the annual rainfall is less than 400 mm, the climate is mild, and it belongs to semi-arid area.

In May 1956, Taoshan township of Jingning County was assigned to Longde County; in August, Wenbao township of Zhuanglang County was assigned to Longde County. In October 1958, Nanfeng commune was set up in xiajiapo, with jurisdiction over the original Taoshan Township and dawansi village on the north slope of Luliang township; Jianguo commune was set up, with jurisdiction over the original Wenbao Township, with jurisdiction over dujiapu. In April 1959, it was renamed Taoshan commune and Wenbao commune respectively. In 1996, Taoshan Township covers an area of 38.8 square kilometers and has a population of 5000. It governs 16 administrative villages including xiapo, Dengta, Luliang, Gexian, peicha, houliu, Qianjin, qianliu, Xinzhuang, chencha, Hongya, Wangjia, Liushan, damaigou, niangou and Dabeishan. Wenbao Township covers an area of 43.5 square kilometers and has a population of 13000. It governs DUBAO, Jianguo, Wugou, zhangdeming, Chengcha, tianliusha and zhangdeming Yang, Wenbao, Huangyi, zhangdugou, dacha, yangbao, ta'eryu, Yangpo, Chengou, Laozhuang and duchuan. In January 1984, the commune was changed into a township. In October 2003, Taoshan township was abolished and merged into Wenbao township. Ningxia enclave
Ningxia enclave is located in Wenbao Township, Jingning County, Pingliang City, Gansu Province, which belongs to Longde County, Guyuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. Wenbao Township covers an area of 52.3 square kilometers. It was transferred to Ningxia in 1956. Because there are sculptors Yang Qihe and many sculptors of his family. It is also known as the hometown of clay sculpture. Another enclave, xueyang village, covers an area of 1.6 square kilometers. The reasons for the formation of this enclave are complex, but they are mainly caused by the division of Ningxia and Gansu. In the early days, Wenbao Township had a long and narrow area connected with Ningxia. After the boundary survey, part of the long and narrow area belonged to Gansu. So Wimbledon became an enclave.
