Sanjia market town

Sanjia market town, belonging to Guanghe County, Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, is located in the east of Guanghe County, facing Xindian Town, Lintao County, Dingxi City across the river in the East, Shuiquan Township in the south, Qijiaji town in the west, Guoyuan Township and chejiawan Township, Dongxiang Autonomous County in the north. The area is 88.45 square kilometers. In 2018, 50656 people registered residence.

Before 1949, it was Sanjia township. In October 1949, it was established as an administrative region. In 1956, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged. In 1958, Sanjiaji commune was established and put under Hezheng county. At the end of 1961, after the separation of Guanghe county and Hezheng County, Sanjiaji commune was divided into Sanjiaji commune and Shuijia commune. In 1968, the Shuijia commune was abolished. In March 1983, it was changed into a top three market town. In 2007, when Nanshan township was abolished, xiaomiangou, Heishan and Nanshan villages were divided into Sanjia market towns. In October 2019, Sanjia market town has jurisdiction over 1 community and 15 administrative villages.

In 2018, there were 35 industrial enterprises in the top three market towns, including one industrial enterprise above Designated Size and 59 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
