Mayanhe town
Mayanhe Town, subordinate to Hui County, Longnan City, Gansu Province, is located in the north of Hui County, with Gaoqiao Town in the East, jiangluo town in the south, Xihe County in the West and Qinzhou District of Tianshui City in the north. It is 70 kilometers away from Hui County, with a total area of 302.6 square kilometers.
After 1949, mayanhe and Huguang townships were set up in mayanhe Town, which was subordinate to Dacheng district; in 2016, mayanhe township was changed into mayanhe town. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in mayanhe town was 10085. As of June 2020, mayanhe town has one community and 15 administrative villages.
The main grain crops in mayanhe town are millet, wheat and corn; the main animal husbandry is raising pigs, sheep and chickens. In 2018, there were two industrial enterprises in mayanhe town.
History of construction
After 1949, there were mayanhe and Huguang townships in the territory, which were subordinate to Dacheng district.
In 1952, four townships, mayanhe, Huguang, Zihua and Mudan, were set up under the jurisdiction of Mayan district.
In 1953, there were seven townships in mayanhe, Xindian, qulan, Zhongyuan, Huguang, Mudan and Zihua.
In 1955, mayanhe, Huguang, Mudan and Zihua were set up.
At the beginning of 1958, districts were withdrawn and townships were merged, and mayanhe Township and Huguang Township were established. In September of the same year, Huicheng County, Chengcheng County and Liangdang county were merged into Huicheng County, and mayanhe Township and Huguang Township were established. Subsequently, mayanhe Township and Huguang Township were merged to form mayanhe commune.
In 1962, the three counties were divided into mayanhe commune and Huguang commune.
In 1962, mayanhe and Huguang communes merged into Mayan commune.
In 1983, Mayan commune was transformed into Mayan township.
In 2016, mayanhe township was changed from township to town.

In 2011, mayanhe town governed 15 administrative villages, including Mayan, Xindian, Yangba, Siping, miling, Xiongbei, Mudan, Ma'an, qulan, Xinping, Guochuan, Huguang, dangzheng, Wangji and Hexi.
By June 2020, mayanhe town has one community and 15 administrative villages: mayanhe community, Hexi village, Mayan village, miling village, Xindian Village, Yangba village, Siping Village, Xiongbei village, Mudan village, Ma'an village, Xinping village, qulan village, Guochuan village, Huguang village, dangzheng village and Wangji village.
