Ningdong Town, formerly known as Ciyaobao Town, is located in the east of Lingwu City. 307 National Highway, Yinqing expressway, CIMA highway and Dagu railway have become an important economic channel between Ningxia and the eastern region. Historical evolution

Ciyaobao town was formed because of coal. After liberation, it was called Xinhua No.2 coal mine. In 1952, it was renamed Ciyaobao coal mine. On August 18, 2005, Ciyaobao town of Lingwu City was officially renamed Ningdong town.
