Jinyang sub District Office (hereinafter referred to as Jinyang sub district) is located in the southwest of Chengdu, under the jurisdiction of Wuhou District. It is adjacent to Wuyang Avenue in the East, Wuhou Science and Technology Park in the West (bounded by 11 factory railway line), Wuhou Avenue in the South and Qingshui River in the north, with an area of 3.1 square kilometers.

As of September 2016, the total population of the jurisdiction was 110684 (2016), including 50998 permanent residents, accounting for 46% of the total population of the jurisdiction, and 59686 floating population, accounting for 54% of the total population of the jurisdiction.

Jinyang Street office was established on December 28, 2000. It is located in the southwest of Chengdu, adjacent to waishuangnan in the East, Wuhou Science and Technology Park in the West (bounded by 11 factory railway line), Wuhou Avenue in the South and Qingshui River in the north, with an area of 3.1 square kilometers and a permanent resident population of 110684 (2016). Jinyang street has three villages: Jinyang village, Jifu village and Shayan village; five communities: Jinyang community, Jifu community, Jinji community, Jinyan community and Shayan community. On January 16, 2012, according to the work arrangement and deployment of the district Party committee and the district government, Jinyang sub district office moved from No. 366 Jinyang road to No. 9 Jifu South Road. in recent years, under the correct leadership of the district Party committee and the district government, Jinyang street has firmly grasped the important task of development, focused on the center, highlighted the key points, and paid close attention to the implementation. Through the joint efforts of the cadres and the masses under the jurisdiction, the renovation and construction work of Jinyang District has made a major breakthrough, and the street economy and social undertakings have developed in an all-round way. The overall fiscal revenue increased from 10.86 million yuan in 2001 to 382.57 million yuan in 2012. Jinyang District is mainly composed of the early commercial houses in our city: Hongyun garden, central garden, Jiaotong University garden, Celebrity Garden and royal garden. It originally belonged to Shuangliu County and was transferred to Wuhou District after the adjustment of Chengdu District in May 1996. Jinyang sub district office was established on December 28, 2000.
