Keke Town, belonging to Wulan County, Haixi Mongolian and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Qinghai Province, is located in the west of Wulan County, bordering xiligou town in the East, Dulan County in the south, Delingha city in the West and Tianjun County in the north. In 2018, the area of coke town was 8062.49 square kilometers, and the registered residence population was 12604.

Historical evolution

In the construction of Qinghai Tibet railway, a large-scale intermediate station integrating vehicle maintenance, public works, machine repair, water and electricity, living and housing construction was built in Keke, which greatly increased the number of railway workers and gradually improved the infrastructure.

In 1985, it set up Keke town from saishike township.

In 2005, saishike township was abolished and merged into Keke town.
