Centianhe town

Centianhe Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Jianghua Yao Autonomous County, Yongzhou City, Hunan Province, is located in the northwest of Jianghua Yao Autonomous County. It was established in November 2015 by the merger of Dongtian Town, Wujiang Township and Huajiang township. It is the dam site of the expansion project of centianhe reservoir, the first water conservancy project in Hunan Province. It is an important town for the relocation and resettlement of immigrants in the reservoir area. The town government is 9 kilometers away from Tuojiang town. The total area of the jurisdiction is 375 square kilometers, and the registered residence population is 35943 (2018). It has 2 communities and 22 administrative villages (2019).

In 1961, Dongtian people's commune was founded by Tuojiang people's commune.

In November 2015, centianhe town was established by merging all the administrative regions of the former Dongtian town and yuanwujiang Township with the 10 organic villages of the former Huajiang Township, namely Xinpeng, Xiaohe, Xinqing, Huangshi, shuikouzhai, Datian, Niujiao, Qunfeng, Shitian and xiuma.
