Xiligou Town, subordinate to Wulan County, Haixi Mongolian and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Qinghai Province, is located in the middle of Wulan county. It is bounded by Tongpu town in the East, North and south, and connected with Keke town in the West. The jurisdiction is composed of three parts. The main area is centered on the county, and there are two grazing areas in Tongpu town. In 1950, it belonged to the first district of Dulan county (xiligou District).

In 1956, xiligou township was established.

In 1958, it was changed into xiligou commune.
