Niangla Township
Niangla Township, subordinate to Nangqian County, Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, is located in the southeast of Nangqian County, bordering Tibet Autonomous Region in the East and south, baizha Township in the west, Maozhuang Township in the north, and 45 kilometers away from Xiangda Town, where the county government is stationed. The area is 513.86 square kilometers. In 2018, 5324 people registered residence.
In 1963, niangla township was established. In 1972, niangla commune was established. In 1984, niangla township was restored. As of October 2019, niangla township has five administrative villages.
In 2011, niangla Township had 12000 mu of arable land, 1.7 million mu of grassland, 1354.9 tons of grain crops, 12.613 million yuan of agricultural output value, and 1856.9 yuan of per capita net income of farmers and herdsmen.

There are many kinds of wild animals, such as snow chicken, red deer, argali, lynx, Tibetan otter, spotted goose and so on.

The total number of livestock is 24482, including 7941 cattle, 10767 goats, 5075 sheep and 669 horses, including 14182 females, 3106 breeding males and 1639 farm and pack animals. The per capita net income of farmers and herdsmen is 1856.9 yuan.
