Gaduoxiaoge (District) was established in gaduo Township in 1953. It was transferred to Tianhe County in 1959 to establish gaduo commune. In 1962, it was transferred to Chengduo county.

Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Qinghai Province is a township under the jurisdiction of Chengduo county. Located in the northwest of the county, 148 kilometers away from the county government. The population is 5000, mainly Tibetan, accounting for 99.8% of the total population. It covers an area of 10000 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over 8 Village (animal husbandry) committees, including Kalong, Kaji, Kema, Buyou, Jixin, Gangyou, zhuomuqi and wuyunda.

Historical evolution

Gaduo township was established in 1963, renamed gaduo commune in 1970 and gaduo Township in 1984. It is located in the valleys and high mountains on the East Bank of Tongtian River in southern Qinghai Plateau. The river runs through the whole territory.

economic construction

The combination of agriculture and animal husbandry is mainly based on animal husbandry, and animal husbandry is mainly based on sheep, yak and horse. Highland barley is the main crop. Qing (ShuiHe) Qu (Malai county) highway passes through the territory.
