Qixiong street is located in the east of Shuyang County. It is close to the economic and Technological Development Zone of Shuyang County, adjacent to TANGJian town in the East, Zhangji street in the South and Xinyi River in the north. The street has a long history. Guantian, the former seat of the town government, is said to be the land of an official in the Ming Dynasty. Because it does not pay taxes, it is called guantian. In the middle of the Qing Dynasty, a town was built, known as "Dongliu town". After liberation, it was formerly known as guantian township. In order to commemorate the souls of the seven heroes, it was changed into Qixiong Township in 1968. In 2000, it was withdrawn from the township and established into a town. In August 2005, it was divided into Qixiong street.

Qixiong martyrs Pavilion

on the green side of chaimi river stands a hexagonal pavilion with cornices and angles. On the right side of the pavilion, the grass is luxuriant, the flowers are blooming, and the fragrance is refreshing; on the left side of the pavilion, the pines and cypresses are luxuriant, and the green is dripping, which reflects the graves of seven martyrs. This is the seven heroes Memorial Pavilion located in Qixiong village, Qixiong Township, Shuyang County. In the pavilion, a huge rectangular stele is erected. On the front of the stele, there are six big characters of "seven Heroes Monument", the handwriting is neat and vigorous, solemn and handsome; on the back, Yu Kang, former Secretary of Shuyang County Party committee, wrote "seven Heroes Monument inscription".
