Anchong Township
An Chong Township, belonging to Yushu City, Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Qinghai Province, is located in the north of Yushu city. The north and East separated Tianhe from the Sai ho township of Chengduo County, East Lianzhong Da Xiang, West and south to Long Bao town. In 2018, the area was 926.6 square kilometers, and the registered residence population was 6378.
In November 1958, it was set up from anlongshauge. In September 1959, it was renamed anchong commune, under the jurisdiction of Jiangnan county. In July 1962, Jiangnan county was abolished and returned to Yushu county. In 1984, it was changed to anchong township. As of October 2019, anchong village has jurisdiction over laze village, jiela village, Burang village, Yeji village and laiye village.
The animal husbandry in anchong township is mainly for raising cattle, horses and sheep. In 2011, there were 48170 heads of various livestock on hand at the end of the year, including 26036 cattle, 159 horses and 21975 sheep. The per capita net income of farmers and herdsmen in anchong township was 3432.8 yuan.
