Duohemao Township

Duo Mao Mao Township, belonging to Zeku County, Huangnan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Qinghai Province, is located in the southeast of Zeku County, East and Xiahe County, Gansu Province, Henan Henan Mongolia Autonomous County, West Lianxi sand town, northwest Mai Mai Town, 2018, the area is 1294.42 square kilometers, and the registered residence population is 9759.

In April 1956, it was built in GuanXiu district. In May 1958, it was renamed duohemao commune (also known as Xianfeng commune). In July 1962, it was changed to duohemao township. In 1969, the township was transformed into a commune. In 1984, duohemao township was established again. As of October 2019, duohemao village has jurisdiction over seven administrative villages.

In 2018, duohemao township has an industrial enterprise and a comprehensive store or supermarket with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Historical evolution

Location context

Duohemao township is located in the southeast of Zeku County, adjacent to Xiahe County of Gansu Province in the East, Mongolia Autonomous County of Henan Province in the south, Xibusha Township in the West and maixiu town in the northwest, with an area of 1294.42 square kilometers.

topographic features

Duohemao township has complex landforms, steep mountains, fast rivers, many valleys and mountains, and the terrain inclines from east to west. The average altitude is above 3600 meters, with the highest altitude of 4500 meters and the lowest altitude of 3200 meters.

climate

Duohemao township has a continental plateau climate. The annual average temperature is - 3 ℃ ~ 2.8 ℃, the highest temperature is 22.6 ℃, and the lowest is - 34.4 ℃. There is no absolute frost free period. The grass growing period is about 150 days, and the annual average rainfall is 441.2 ~ 523.9 mm, mainly concentrated in May to September.

hydrology

There are zequ River, Panchen River, Heihong River, Keang River, Daqiang River, chadicha River and other rivers in duohemao township. Heihong river flows into Longwu gorge and becomes a tributary of Longwu River. Keang river flows through Henan county and joins Duqu river.

There are gold, lead, zinc, stele and other non-ferrous metals in duohemao township; there are rich animal husbandry and forestry resources, as well as rich traditional Chinese medicine and wild animals and plants.
