Caijiabao Township

Caijiabao Township, belonging to Huzhu Tu Autonomous County, Haidong City, Qinghai Province, is located in the southwest of Huzhu Tu Autonomous County, adjacent to tangchuan town in the East, Xining City in the south, Datong County in the West and Xishan Township in the north, with a total area of 72.25 square kilometers.

In September 1949, caijiabao township was under the jurisdiction of the two districts; in April 1983, it was changed from caijiabao commune to chajiabao township. By the end of 2018, the registered residence of CAI Jiabao was 7685. In 2019, 13 administrative villages will be under the jurisdiction of caijiapu rural area, and the people's government will be stationed in Yanya village.

The main food crop in caijiapu township is potato, and the main animal husbandry is raising piglets and native chickens. In 2018, there were 8 comprehensive stores or supermarkets in caijiabao Township with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History of construction

In September 1949, Huzhu county set up five districts and 32 towns, and caijiabao township was under the jurisdiction of two districts.

On October 18, 1956, caijiabao township was established.

On May 17, 1958, caijiabao Township and Wufeng Township were merged into Wufeng commune.

On August 23, 1961, Wufeng commune was divided into Wufeng commune, Xishan commune and caijiabao commune.

In April 1983, caijiabao commune was changed into chajiabao township.

In 1996, caijiapu village had 13 administrative villages: Yanya, Dazhuang I, Dazhuang II, yujialing, Quanwan, dongjiagou, Houwan, guanjiashan, Liulishan, shangliujia, Baoliu, Maliantan and Yangjiawan.

In 2011, caijiapu village had 13 administrative villages and 6 natural villages, including Maliantan, Baoliu, freshman, sophomore, ruoya, Quanwan, dongjiagou, Yangjiawan, Sunjiawan, Houwan, guanjiashan, shangliujia and Liulishan.

In 2019, caijiapu village governs 13 administrative villages including Yanya village, dazhuangyi village, dongjiagou village, guanjiashan village, Houwan village, Liulishan village, Maliantan village, Quanwan village, shangliujia village, Sunjiawan village, Yangjiawan village, Baoliu village and dazhuanger village. The people's government is stationed in Yanya village.

Caijiapu township is located in the western part of the Loess Plateau, the transition zone between the Qinghai Tibet Plateau and the Loess Plateau, with the natural characteristics of the two plateaus. The geological structure is a part of the eastern part of the Qilian Mountain trough fold belt, with an altitude of 2400-2800m. The mountains and gullies are deep and the terrain is complex.
