Xibao Town, subordinate to Huangzhong District, Xining City, Qinghai Province, is connected with lushaer town and Zongzhai in the East and south, Ganhetan town in the West and Duoba town in the north, with an administrative area of 94 square kilometers.

History of construction

In the late Qing Dynasty, Xibao belonged to Xining County; in the Republic of China, it was Ge hometown, the Fourth District of Huangzhong County.

In 1956, Xibao was changed to GE's hometown.

In 1961, Xibao became Xibao commune.

In 1984, Xibao was renamed Xibao township.

In 2006, Xibao township was removed and Xibao town was built.
