Pengzang Town, belonging to Jishishan Baoan Dongxiang Salar Autonomous County, Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, is located in the South East of Jishishan Baoan Dongxiang Salar Autonomous County, adjacent to puchuan Township in the East, Yingtan Township in Linxia County in the south, Xiaoguan Township in the West and zhongzuiling Township in the north. The area is 29.67 square kilometers. In 2018, 18411 people registered residence.

In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Xixiang 15th meeting, Yongshou Township, Linxia county. In 1953, it belonged to the ninth district. In 1958, the Tibetan commune was established. In 1973, it was changed into a Tibetan area. In February 1981, Linxia county and Jishishan Township were affiliated to pengzang commune. In 2004, the township was removed and the town was built. In June 2020, pengzang town has one community and 10 administrative villages.
