Qijia market town

Qijiaji Town, belonging to Guanghe County, Linxia Hui Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province, is located in the east of Guanghe county. It is adjacent to Sanjiaji town in the East, Shuiquan town in the south, Chengguan town in the West and Guoyuan town in Dongxiang Autonomous County in the north. The area is 66.38 square kilometers. In 2018, 40520 people registered residence.

After October 1949, curtain cave area was set up. In 1956, when the district was withdrawn and the township was merged, it was changed into Huang Zhao's hometown. In 1958, it was incorporated into Chengguan commune and under the jurisdiction of Hezheng county. In 1961, the organizational system of Guanghe county was restored, and a new Huang Zhaojia commune was established. In 1982, it was renamed Qijiaji commune. In March 1983, it was changed to Qijiaji township. In July 2006, the township was replaced by Qijiaji town. In 2007, when Nanshan township was abolished, Lijiawan, Chenjiawan and Huangjia villages were divided into Qijiaji town. In October 2019, Qijiaji town governs 16 administrative villages.

In 2018, there were 45 industrial enterprises in Qijia market town and 10 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

The terrain of Qijiaji town is two mountains plus one river, high in the West and low in the East. The highest point is xiejiashanliang, 2300m above sea level; the lowest point is tianjiacun, 1850m above sea level.

Qijiaji Town River belongs to Taohe River system. The main river is Guangtong River, which enters from the west of sihouzi village. The river is 12.3 km long, with a drainage area of 573 square kilometers and an average annual flow of 89.67 million cubic meters.
