Suhe town

Suhe Town, belonging to Xihe County, Longnan City, Gansu Province, is located in the northwest of Xihe County, adjacent to Xiyu town in the East, Jiangxi town in the south, Lixian County in the West and Shibao town in the north. It is about 15 kilometers away from Xihe County, with a total area of 85.43 square kilometers.

After October 1949, Suhe township was set up; in 2018, it was changed from Suhe township to Suhe town. By the end of 2018, the population of Suhe town registered residence was 20494. As of June 2020, Suhe town has 20 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town people's government is stationed in Suhe village.

The main food crops in Suhe town are wheat and corn; the main economic crops are potato and Pinellia ternata; the industry is mainly brick and tile processing. In 2018, there was one industrial enterprise and 26 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters in Suhe town.

History of construction

Suhe town is named after the township government's residence in Suhe village.

After October 1949, Suhe township was established.

In 1958, it was changed into Suhe commune.

In December 1983, it was restored to Suhe township.

In 2018, Suhe township was changed from township to town.
