Wangmo town
Wangmo Town, subordinate to Cheng County, Longnan City, Gansu Province, is located in the north of Cheng county. It borders Niyang town of Hui County in the East, Chengguan town in the south, Chenyuan town in the southwest, Erlang Township in the West and Huangzhu town in the north. It is 18 kilometers away from Cheng County, with a total area of 166.1 square meters.
In the Ming Dynasty, Wangmo town belonged to chengbeili; in August 2005, Wangmo Township and Shuiquan Township merged into Wangmo town. By the end of 2018, the population of Wang Mo town registered residence was 9184. As of June 2020, Wangmo town has 15 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the Township People's government is stationed in shangwangxiashe, Wangmo village.
In 2018, there was one industrial enterprise in Wangmo Town, including one above scale and eight comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
In the Ming Dynasty, it belonged to Beili.
In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Beili.
After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it belongs to Heiyu township.
In April 1953, it belongs to the seventh district.
In August 1955, it was changed into Wangmo district.
In October 1958, it belonged to Shuiquan commune.
In October 1961, Wang Mo commune was established.
In March 1968, Wangmo commune was changed into Dongfanghong commune.
In September 1972, it was restored to Wangmo commune.
In October 1983, Wangmo commune was changed into Wangmo township.
In August 2005, Wangmo Township and Shuiquan Township merged into Wangmo town.
