Zhiping town

Zhiping Town, subordinate to Jingning County, Pingliang City, Gansu Province, is located in the southwest of Jingning County, with Shuangxian town and Leida town in the East, Lidian town in the south, Shengou Township and Xindian Township in the west, and Gangou town in the north. The administrative area of the town is 77.86 square kilometers.

In 1067, Zhiping village was established here. After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it belonged to Zhiping and yuncui. In June 1955, it was renamed Zhiping district. In 1959, it was renamed Zhiping commune. In November 1983, it was changed to the rule of peace. In 2018, the township will be changed into a town. By the end of 2018, 14169 people registered residence in Zhiping. As of June 2020, Zhiping town has jurisdiction over 12 administrative villages. The town people's government is located in Anning village.

At the end of 2011, the per capita net income of farmers in Zhiping town was 3670 yuan. By the end of 2018, Zhiping town had three industrial enterprises and two supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
