Laneway town

Landao Town, subordinate to Gaotai County, Zhangye City, Gansu Province, is located in the southeast of Gaotai County, the middle of Hexi Corridor, the lower part of the middle reaches of Heihe River, adjacent to liaoquan town of Linze County in the East, Nanhua town in the south, Xuanhua town in the west, and Heli Township in the north. It covers an area of 80.52 square kilometers. In 2018, the population of Lanzhou town registered residence was 27384.

Since 1939, they belong to Jiankang town and Rouyuan Township respectively. In 1983, it was changed into laneway township. In 2005, Zhengyuan township was merged into laneway township. In 2014, the township was replaced by township.

In 2018, there were 12 industrial enterprises in Landao Town, including 3 Industrial Enterprises above Designated Size and 58 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Historical evolution

Since 1939, they belong to Jiankang town and Rouyuan Township respectively.

After 1949, it belongs to three and four townships of Jiankang district and one, two, seven and eight townships of Rouyuan district.

In 1955, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged. Three townships, orchard, laneway and Xiaosi, were set up in the territory.

In 1958, after communization, it belonged to Chengguan commune.

In 1961, it was set up from Chengguan commune to laneway commune and Xiaosi commune.

In 1964, Xiaosi commune was merged into laneway commune.

In 1983, it was changed into laneway township.

In 2005, Zhengyuan township was merged into laneway township.
