Guandun Township

Guandun township is located in the middle of Shuyang County, on the North Bank of Huaishu new river. Built in the period of the Republic of China, it was called Guanzhu township at that time. When the people's Republic of China was founded, it was also called Hongdeng Township and Hongdun township. Later, it got its name because there was a mound "guandun mountain" in the territory.

The township governs 11 administrative villages with a population of 30339 (in 2017), covering an area of 58 square kilometers and 44200 mu of arable land.
