Pingshanhu Mongolian Township, belonging to Ganzhou District, Zhangye City, Gansu Province, is located in the north of Ganzhou District, bordered by Zhongsha River in the East, Alxa Right Banner of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, Jing'an Township and sanzha town in the south, Banqiao township of Linze County in the west, and Alxa Right Banner of Inner Mongolia ancient autonomous region in the north. It covers an area of 1040 square kilometers. In 2018, 839 people registered residence in Pingshan lake.
In 1953, Pingshanhu township was built. In 1968, it was changed into Wulan commune. In 1983, it was changed into Pingshanhu Mongolian township. As of June 2020, Pingshanhu Mongolian township has jurisdiction over three administrative villages, and the Township People's government is located in group 2 of Pingshanhu village.
In 2018, Pingshanhu Mongolian township has a comprehensive store or supermarket with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
