Anqu town
Anqu town is under the jurisdiction of Hongyuan County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. Located in the west of Hongyuan County, 31 kilometers away from the county. Population 4278 (2017). The former national highway 213 passes through. It has jurisdiction over halama, xiahalama and duolong village committees.
Originally, it was composed of seven tribes, namely halama, longrima, Duoma, gashengerma, rongdongma, mamalou and Tawa, belonging to Charlie temple. It covers an area of 883.46 square kilometers.
Historical evolution
In 1958, halama, longrima and Duoma were combined to build Anqu Township, which belongs to Lixian County;
In 1960, it was assigned to Hongyuan county;
In 1973, it was changed to Anqu commune;
In 1984, Qu township of Fu'an was restored.
In October 2013, the township was removed to build a town.
With the consent of Sichuan Provincial People's government, Anqu township of Hongyuan county was approved to withdraw the township and build a town. The town people's government is still stationed in the original township government and has jurisdiction over the administrative region of the original township.
Economic overview
Anqu town is mainly engaged in animal husbandry production, and its main products are beef and mutton, cattle and sheep skin, cattle wool, milk and its processed products, butter, milk residue, etc.
Halama village of Anqu township is located on the provincial highway 209, 30 kilometers away from the county seat, 12 kilometers away from the Hongyuan Prairie Airport to be built, 400 kilometers away from Chengdu in the south, 60 kilometers away from Zoige in the north and 200 kilometers away from Huanglong in the West. The unique natural scenery, the unique Tibetan folk customs, the mysterious Tibetan Buddhist culture, the ancient and far-reaching nomadic culture, and the solemn and stirring epic of the long march of the Red Army constitute the unique charm of the prairie. It is a good place for Chinese and foreign tourists to travel and spend the summer. There are 274 herdsmen and 1564 people in the village, with a total natural grassland area of 399500 mu. In 2008, there were 31308 mixed livestock in the village, and the per capita net income of herdsmen was 2876 yuan. Halama village adheres to animal husbandry as the leading industry, explores a new mechanism of determining livestock by grass, optimizes resource allocation, and takes the road of good ecology, balanced grass and livestock, and sustainable development of animal husbandry.
