Sudian town

Sudian town belongs to Shangdang District of Changzhi City. Located in the north of Shangdang District, bordering on Luzhou District, the town governs 19 administrative villages, with a total area of 44.11 square kilometers. The resident population was 39162 (2017). Changling highway, Changjin secondary road, Suhu highway and Changjin Expressway run through the whole town.

Sima commune was set up in 1962 and changed to township in 1984. Located in the northwest of the county, 9 kilometers away from the county government. With an area of 14 square kilometers and a population of 11000, Tailuo highway passes through. It has jurisdiction over six administrative villages, namely Sima, Fengcun, Yitang, Kansi, Sizhuang and Wangdong. after the zoning adjustment in 2001, Sima township was merged into Sudian town.
