Touzhaizi Town, belonging to Huining County, Baiyin City, Gansu Province, is located in the northwest of Huining County, adjacent to hanjiacha Township and Hepan town in the East, shixiawan Township and Bailu Township in Anding District of Dingxi City in the south, Gongjing Township and Zhonglianchuan Township in Yuzhong County of Lanzhou City in the west, Xinzhuang Township and guochengyi town in the north, with a total administrative area of 473 square kilometers.

After 1949, touzhaizi belonged to gongfeng Township, the Fifth District; in 1961, touzhaizi commune was established; in 1983, township system was restored; in 2001, touzhaizi township was transformed into a town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in tou Zhai town was 29046. In June 2020, touzhaizi town governs one community and 15 administrative villages.

History of construction

After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), Huining county was divided into five districts, and touzhaizi belonged to the fourth district (under the jurisdiction of guochengyi).

After 1949, touzhaizi belonged to gongfeng Township, the Fifth District.

In 1952, it belonged to the Ninth District, gongfeng township.

In 1953, he was the resident of the 12th district office.

In 1955, it belonged to gongfeng Township, Guocheng district.

In 1958, it was under the jurisdiction of Guocheng commune.
